|Day 1: Leave For Kanchipuram From Chennai
Arrive at Chennai, Proceed to Kanchipuram, in the evening visit Shiv Kanchi temple and Vishnu Kanchi temple.
|Day 2: Head Towards Pondicherry Via Mahabalipuram
Proceed to Pondicherry. En-route visit Shore temple – classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Crocodile park, Arjuna Penance and 5 Rathas at Mahabalipuram. On arrival fancy Pondicherry beach in the evening.
|Day 3: Move To Thanjavur
Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Matru Mandir and Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus. Overnight stay at a hotel in Thanjavur.
|Day 4: Visit Trichy
Excursion to Trichy. Visit the Brihadeeswara temple – a World Heritage Site, Vyankoji Palace Museum. Next visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple – largest temple in India and one among the most important religious complexes in the world.
|Day 5: Head Towards Rameshwaram Via Velankani
Visit to Velankani church at Velankani, a fabulous example of design. Proceed to Rameshwaram – the place from where Lord Rama, designed a bridge across the ocean to rescue his consort Sita, from her abductor, Ravana. Make it to Rameshwaram in the evening. Visit Ramanathan temple.
|Day 6: Move To Madurai
Early morning take Sphatika linga Darshan at the noted Ramanathan temple – a Masterpiece in Dravidian design. Later proceed to Madurai. Make it to Madurai in the evening.
|Day 7: Visit Meenakshi Temple
Visit Meenakshi temple – Madurai claim to fame for its meticulous colourful carvings on the Gopurams (towers), in the vivid Dravidian image of Gods, Goddess, animal and legendary figures. Free time for Shopping in the evening.
|Day 8: Travel Back Home From Madurai
Board train or flight for your hometown. Tour comes to an end.
