Itinerary

Maasai Mara Masai Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

You will be greeted by a representative at Nairobi Airport airport. On your arrival, a driver will be waiting for you outside the airport, then you will be taken towards the escarpment into the Great Rift Valley, via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve. On the way, quench your curiosity about the lifestyle of Maasai tribes by taking a look of the proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears. As you move forward, watch the 700-square-mile exciting Game Reserve of the Africa and do treat your eyes with the amazing wild animals grazing in the midst of the fabulous rolling landscape surrounded with beautiful hills and acacia woodlands. Upon arrival, check in to the lodge.

12.30pm – Get ready for the delicious buffet lunch in the lodge. You will get time to settle in before
your first game drive.
4.00pm –Enjoy the afternoon game drive in the reserve. Before it gets too dark, return back to the camp.
7.30pm – Take in the pleasure of a wonderful dinner in the camp

Lake Naivasha Day 2: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Optional:
Hold on your excitement, as there will be a possibility to enjoy a hot air balloon ride today. You will have a magical experience, taking a ride in a hot air balloon, floating in the sky for the ultimate Maasai Mara wildlife adventure. Start your ride early in the morning, when there is a serene environment and the winds are calmest. Watch out how the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air, and gradually the big, colourful bag starts bulging and take shape. Board into the traditional wicker gondola basket suspended beneath, while the expert pilot will make the final adjustments. You will be drifting with the whims of the wind and go up and up, viewing the spectacular sunrise, overlooking the plains. You will feel as if you are in the flight of a lifetime! Your balloon can rise over the most difficult and undisturbed parts of the Mara, with only the intermittent whisper of the balloon’s gas burners interrupting the silence of your flight. Going 50-500 feet above the reserve, capture the breathtaking view of a fantastic 360-degree bird’s-eye view. Your heats will be filled up with enough memories that are truly unforgettable. If you are lucky, then you might get an opportunity to view the herds of antelope groups of elephants walking together in an isolated ravine, lionesses silently stalking a flock of grunting wildebeest, or beautiful zebras with black and white stripes. After your majestic flight, it’s time to grab on some nice breakfast. Just relax, and chill out with  a sip of champagne along with some tasty  breakfast of sizzling bacon, eggs, sausage, home-made breads, fresh tropical fruit and  refreshing hot cups of Kenyan coffee or tea sitting under the clear blue sky, while recollecting the wonderful memories. Before leaving this place, you will be presented a balloon flight certificate, by the pilot. On the way back to the camp take in the thrilling view of a game drive, while crossing that route. No wonder you will gather an incredible experience coming here and take a ride in this awesome flight. Note: Carry Comfortable clothes, a hat or visor, sunglasses, a skin protective sunscreen and a light jacket or sweater. If you book the tour together with the safari you will be offered at an exclusive price.

Otherwise:
6.00am – Wake up call. Tea, coffee and cookies will be served in the campsite.
6.30am – Set out for an early morning travel to the game drive in the reserve. This is usually the perfect time to view the games. During the early morning hour’s temperatures remain low, thus providing a favourable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Watch the Lion, Cheetah and Leopard wandering in the vast grasslands. Do take a look of the impala or even a smaller one like the warthog. The Lustrous views of nature will simply awe stuck you.
8.30am – Enjoy your sumptuous breakfast, returning back to the camp.
10.00am –Thrilling mid morning game drive. Take in the pleasure of morning game drive while getting out of the national Park. Have lunch on the way, and then drive via Great Rift Valley view points.  Spend some time in the afternoon, wandering around a ‘non-touristy’ town where you can indulge yourself in some delightful shopping.

Green Crater Lake Day 3: Green Crater Lake Walk

Breakfast will be served at 7.00 am and  after that , get ready as the driver is going to pick you up from ‘Kenya Walking Survivor Safaris’ at 8.00am. Get in the view of the Green Crater Lake, that  takes you out of Naivasha and  then you will get across a rough and bumpy road down the edge of lake Naivasha .As you  pass by the huge Greenhouses, see the beautiful  roses and other flowers that are grown for the export market. Start your morning game walk after arriving at the Green Crater Lake at around 9.30am Gather an exclusive experience reaching the salubrious Crater Lake formed by volcanic activity. Take a walk in a reserve where you might get close to Giraffe and different varieties of antelope. Capture some nice snaps .If there is any curiosity in your mind, to more about the wild habitats, take the help of guide who  will answer all your questions about the  various animals, birdlife etc .
At around 12.00pm you will have a delicious lunch at ‘canary camp’ which takes 20 minutes down the road towards Naivasha town. You will be supplied lunch by KWSS which will be prepared by their cook. Tucked up on the shore of Lake Naivasha, Canara camp is a wonderful camp that dwells large resident bird population Inc Ibis, fabulous starlig, Lovebirds, fish eagle and Hoopoe .Do watch out the Black and White colobus monkey. Have lunch and then spend some time in leisure. Relax and chill out at the campsite bar with a cold drink and enjoy game of pool .If you want you can also participate in some activities like a cycle ride around the village, or else hire a small power boat for a lake trip.
Just a few klms away, you can take a look of Elsamere,  which is the home of the late  George Adamson Joy  who is an artist as well as famous for her book ‘Born Free’ .Pay  an entry fee of Ksh 1000 per pax (approx USD$10) and  visit the small museum, look at a documentary video of their life and then get refreshed sitting in the beautiful gardens located just  beside the lake and take pleasure in the  afternoon tea  along with some tasty cakes, scones and slices .Your hearts will remain unsatisfied without paying a visit at  Elsamere that opens at 3.30pm .Make a plan of  2 hours for exploring Elsamore , an awesome  place worth visiting it. Overnight at the Carnelley’s Camp.

Amboseli National Park Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli

Get up early and delight your taste buds with a relishing  breakfast .Today you will be  driven to the southern part of Kenya call Amboseli where you will pass through  the border of Kenya and Tanzania (Please note: You don’t need a visa while going to Amboseli national park  because the park is on the side of Kenya.) This is one of the best parks, from where you can have a stunning view Mount Kilimanjaro
You will reach this park in the late evening. While driving back to the campus you have to pass by the game drive route.
Spend Overnight accompanied with dinner at Kimana Tented Camp .

Nairobi Day 5: Amboseli – Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning, and enjoy a hearty breakfast and be ready for your departure to Nairobi .Take in the thrill of a delightful lunch. After having lunch, make your way to airport to catch your flight back to your own destination or for more safaris.
