Best Time To Visit- Month-by-month guide to travelling.

Costa Rica invites a lot of tourists during these months. The beautiful tropical climate is perfectly blended with forest-laced beaches and happy tourist faces. Despite the short occasional rain shower, it is comparatively drier than rest of the year. The country lights up with activities.

This is a great time to travel on the waves. Surfers will enjoy the Costa Rica Beaches around this time, while the animal lovers can find their haven in quieter national parks. The rainfall increases during this time of the year, but also leaves room for ample sunshine to maintain balance.

With the start of European Holidays, Costa Rica is still welcoming visitors despite the rainfall. Kids can enjoy spotting the green sea turtles along the coast line of Tortuguero National park and even find whales around Dominical. Beach lovers can head for Northern Pacific Coast.

Travel is not recommended during this time since the progressively increasing rainfall has hit a time, when it makes wild-life spotting and any other exploration very challenging. The roads tend to get muddier and the place is prone of landslides and high river crossings

By the end of November, there are chances of receding rainfall, however this cannot be predicted with absolute certainty. The rainfall will definitely disappear by mid-December as the country is preparing for festivities. Book your trip in advance if you wish to witness this.
