Itinerary

Cape Town Day 1: Arrival at Johannesburg – Cape Town

Arrival at Johannesburg international airport, you will be transferred for your domestic flight to Capetown. On arrival at Cape Town, check in to your pre-booked hotel and you will have some time in hand for leisure. Head out to the west coast ostrich ranch which has been organising amazing shows for many years. Just 20 minutes away is a very informative tourist destination constructed by Kanigowski family which offers great value of leather, curio shops and even ostrich meat restaurants for the foodies. It’s basically a 45 minute informative route that comprises of various kind of things for you on display like leather factory, west coast white ostriches, dwarf ostriches, black neck ostriches, peacocks, cactus garden and many more. Get a life time experience of sitting on an ostrich. Proceeding towards the most visited place the working harbour V&A, it is home to waterfront walkways, boat trips, shops, museums, bars, hotels, cinemas and what not. Return back to your hotel in late evening and have your dinner at the hotel and stay over for the night at the hotel.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway DAY 2: Visit Table Mountain

Rise and shine! After your breakfast at the hotel set off for a half day tour of the mother city, you will drive through the Clifton & Sea point and then later drive past the houses of parliament, the castle, SA museum and many other historical sights such as district six, Bo-kaap, slave lodge and ending at the swarming Greenmarket Square. Only if the weather permits visit the table mountain through a cable car ride and if not then the signal hill. Return back to your hotel. Dine in and have a overnight at the hotel.

Cape of Good Hope Day 3: Visit Cape Of Good Hope Nature Reserve

After you’re done with breakfast, you will be shown the best of Cape peninsula and reason behind why it’s called the Fairest Cape. You will cover a lot of places today, firstly drive past the Sea point and Camps bay, then on to popular beaches like Clifton and Llandudno towards Hout bay. And finally at the Cape Of Good Hope Nature Reserve, enjoy a funicular ride aboard the Flying Dutchman and some mesmerizing views. Later head on Boulders beach and get an amazing opportunity to sit among the well known colony of Jackass Penguins. Later take a pit stop at the naval port of Simon’s Town and get to know legendary story of  “Able Seaman Just Nuisance” the great dane dog that was introduced in Royal Navy. Later on return to the hotel, have dinner and stay over at the hotel for the night.

Johannesburg DAY 4: Cape Town- Johannesburg – Sun City

After munching on your delicious breakfast, leave for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg you will taken on an two hour drive to Sun City. Sun City has a lot to offer like casinos, nightlife, dazzling shows and more. Today is yours to explore as you please. You will be taken back with the visuals of a man made sea, complete with waves and beaches. You could either go for surfing or swimming at the valley of waves or just relax at the water world. Go for an evening stroll at the Palace Of The Lost City. Do spare time to visit the casinos or the sink in the elegance of the splendid resort City. Return back to the hotel for the overnight stay in Sun City.

Pilanesberg DAY 5: Game Drive to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve

Early in the morning, leave for your game drive to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve which is situated not that far from Sun City. While on your game drive you will have the opportunity to watch the big five and a variety of other wildlife creatures too. You can also take up a hot air balloon safari ( but only at an additional cost). Later in the afternoon, head back to Sun City to enjoy more fun filled activities for the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Sun City.

Kruger Game Drive DAY 6: Visit Kruger National Park

Early morning 7 hour drive passing through the towns of Witbank and Nelspruit en route to the internationally well known Kruger National Park. You will be having company of an experienced guide all throughout your safari. Kruger National Park is a property filled with a bountiful of different mammals, bird and plant species. The focus is on explanative game viewing with the knowledge and experience of your guide add to your safari experience. You will be spending your night at a lodge in the park inclusive of your dinner.

Kruger National Park DAY 7: Visit Other Areas Of Kruger National Park

Today you will go for a safari in the other ecological areas of the park ranging from river brush to open savannah support the bountiful of wildlife. You will surely be experiencing the sights of big five: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo are amongst those mammals that can roam untouched freely in this 2 million hectare park. By the golden hour sets in you will be accompanied by a park ranger where you will spot the nocturnal animals or most cat species like leopard or lion as they gear themselves up for the hunt. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in the park.

Constitution Hill, Johannesburg DAY 8: Drive Back To Johannesburg

For one last time drive in the wild park which is then followed by breakfast and some time off to relax. Then hit the road to Johannesburg via national highway. En route a quick tour of Pretoria. On arrival in Johannesburg you have an option of visiting the Johannesburg Civic Theatre to get a deeper knowledge of african culture and admire the performing arts. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Cradle of Humankind DAY 9: Johannesburg- Sterkfontein Caves- Cradle of Mankind-Lesedi

After you’re done with your breakfast, see the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg. After the visit to Apartheid Museum it’s time to leave for Sterkfontein Caves. The Sterkfontein caves are made up of limestone and is said to be one of the richest and most fruitful paleoanthropological sites in the world which is now a home to one of the top restaurant and conferencing facilities. You will also be visiting Lesedi village to experience rich and colorful traditions of the Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi, Xhosa and Zulu people. Enjoy the Lesedi tribal dance and feast with treats from northern, eastern and southern Africa. Drive back to Johannesburg for overnight at the hotel.

Magaliesberg Mountain Day 10: Magaliesberg Meander

Just as you finish with breakfast, leave for Magaliesberg Meander. The Magaliesberg Mountain Range on the northern side of Johannesburg has evolved as a fascinating mix of recreation, nature conservation and urban development. Firstly take up the Elephant Sanctuary tour, the place is surrounded by natural native bush and is home to impala, Klipspringer, baboons, porcupine, caracal, leopard and a more of mammals,birds, elephants obviously. After Lunch you will head on to the De Wildt Cheetah tour. Later drive back to Johannesburg via Hartebeespoort Dam in the village of Hartebeespoort. The location of this place very striking just enjoy the tranquility of hills, valleys in your drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Johannesburg Day 11: Leave For Your Home

Your trip ends after breakfast and you will be dropped at the Johannesburg airport for your flight back home.
