Itinerary

Mau Mau Cave Day 1: Nairobi – Mau Mau Cave

You will be greeted by a representative at Nairobi airport. On your arrival, a driver will be waiting for you outside the airport, then you will be driven to the northern side of the country where you will enjoy the splendid beauty of the coffee plantation to the foot of Mt.kenya where you will reach in the early afternoon.
Have delightful lunch from here and then take a stroll at the Mau mau cave which has some historical significance. This is the place where the colonial people had a fight with the British people.

Samburu National Reserve Day 2: Mau Mau Cave – Drive to Samburu National Reserve.

Smack on some tasty breakfast and after that get ready to be driven to the northern frontier district. The driving will continue till the semi arid Samburu National reserve and finally you will reach your campsite.
12.30pm – Satiate your taste buds with delightful Lunch at the lodge. You will get enough time to settle in before your safari adventure.
4.00pm – Be ready for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. , Return back to the lodge, before dark.
7.30pm – Feeling hungry? Enjoy a wonderful Dinner in the Lodge.

Samburu Game Lodge
Going 350 kms north of Nairobi you can see Samburu National Reserve in Kenya’s semi-arid area. Take a look of the EwasoNyiro River, which is the Kenya’s third largest river and the only water source during the dry season. Other than providing water to life, the river is also an abode to some of the major Reptiles in the region and attracts many   colourful birds. Some 300 different species have already been recorded. The evocative beauty of the forked palm, the doum palm, along the banks of this river will simply bewilder you. Watch out the abundant wildlife, that includes species such as Gerenuk, Dik-dik, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, Elephant, Cheetah, Leopard and Lion. Apart from these, you can see plenty of unique species over here such as Grevy’s zebra, Beisaoryx, Somali Ostrich and reticulated Giraffe”

Samburu Day 3 – Samburu

6.00am – There will be a call for Wake up
6.30am – Set out for an early morning travel to the game drive in the reserve. This is usually the perfect time to view the games. During the early morning hour’s temperatures remain low, thus providing a favourable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Watch the Lion, Cheetah and Leopard wandering in the vast grasslands. Do take a look of the impala or even a smaller one like the warthog. The Lustrous views of nature will simply awe stuck you.
8.30am – Enjoy your sumptuous breakfast, returning back to the camp.
12.30pm – Take in the pleasure of the delightful lunch in the camp then spend some time at leisure to relax by the riverside, and click some snaps of the big crocodiles.
4.00pm – Afternoon, enjoy game drive. Before dark, get back to the campsite.
7.30pm – Enjoy dinner in the lodge.

Lake Nakuru National Park Day 4: Samburu – Nakuru.

7.30am – Wake up early, and take in the pleasure of some lip smacking breakfast .Leave for a morning game drive in the reserve. Drive towards the southerly direction to the equator for a short stop. You can see the locals giving the water demonstration to become eligible for the position of the equator and paying a small tip you can be awarded an ‘equator Certificate’. Moving forward you will be bewildered with the panoramic view of the Thompson fall .Click some nice photos of the enigmatic Thompson falls. If you want you can also take some nice selfies, or group photos. Then travel towards the Great Rift Valley. A spectacular view of the eastern wall of the rift Valley, surrounded with lush coffee and tea plantations is enough to fill your heart with wonderful memories, and your driver-guides will give you a brief description about coffee farming in Kenya.
12.30pm – After checking in at your camp in, have your lunch.
7.30pm –Enjoy a wonderful Dinner in the Tented Camp in the park.

Maasai Mara Masai Day 5: Nakuru – Masai Mara.

7.30am – You will be served with a full buffet breakfast in the camp. Enjoy your breakfast and thereafter start driving via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. On the way, quench your curiosity about the lifestyle of Maasai tribes by taking a look of the proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears. As you move forward, watch the 700-square-mile exciting Game Reserve of the Africa and do treat your eyes with the amazing wild animals grazing in the midst of the fabulous rolling landscape surrounded with beautiful hills and acacia woodlands. Upon arrival, check in to the lodge.
12.30pm – Get ready for the delicious buffet lunch in the lodge. You will get time to settle in before your first game drive.
4.00pm –Enjoy the afternoon game drive in the reserve. Before darkness prevails, return back to the camp.
7.30pm – Take in the pleasure of a wonderful dinner in the camp

Masai Mara Day 6: Masai Mara

Hold on your excitement, as there will be a possibility to enjoy a hot air balloon ride today. You will have a magical experience, taking a ride in a hot air balloon, floating in the sky for the ultimate Maasai Mara wildlife adventure. Start your ride early in the morning, when there is a serene environment and the winds are calmest. Watch out how the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air, and gradually the big, colourful bag starts bulging and take shape. Board into the traditional wicker gondola basket suspended beneath, while the expert pilot will make the final adjustments. You will be drifting with the whims of the wind and go up and up, viewing the spectacular sunrise, overlooking the plains. You will feel as if you are in the flight of a lifetime! Your balloon can rise over the most difficult and undisturbed parts of the Mara, with only the intermittent whisper of the balloon’s gas burners interrupting the silence of your flight. Going 50-500 feet above the reserve, capture the breathtaking view of a fantastic 360-degree bird’s-eye view. Your heats will be filled up with enough memories that are truly unforgettable. If you are lucky, then you might get an opportunity to view the herds of antelope groups of elephants walking together in an isolated ravine, lionesses silently stalking a flock of grunting wildebeest, or beautiful zebras with black and white stripes. After your majestic flight, it’s time to grab on some nice breakfast. Just relax, and chill out with a sip of champagne along with some tasty breakfast of sizzling bacon, eggs, sausage, home-made breads, fresh tropical fruit and refreshing hot cups of Kenyan coffee or tea sitting under the clear blue sky, while recollecting the wonderful memories. Before leaving this place, you will be presented a balloon flight certificate, by the pilot. On the way back to the camp take in the thrilling view of a game drive, while crossing that route. No wonder you will gather an incredible experience coming here and take a ride in this awesome flight. Note: Carry Comfortable clothes, a hat or visor, sunglasses, a skin protective sunscreen and a light jacket or sweater. 10.00am –Thrilling mid morning game drive. Take in the pleasure of morning game drive while getting out of the national Park.
12.30pm: Take Lunch in the campsite then spend time in leisure by relaxing or chilling out near the Swimming pool.
4.00pm: Indulge yourself in afternoon game drive. Get in to the campsite before it get’s dark.
7.30pm: Enjoy wonderful dinner in the MWANGAZA TENTED CAMO

Lake Naivasha Day 7: Masaai Mara – Lake Naivasha  (330km)

7.30am – Tantalize your taste buds with a full buffet breakfast in the lodge and then check out. Drive towards Lake Naivasha where you can enjoy delicious lunch on the way. .After having  lunch in mtlongonot , again start  driving  to hells gate national park where you can take a picturesque of the major activities like hot, cold, springs, that  were formed due to volcanic activities
05.00pm – Arrive in the hotel.

Amboseli Game Drive Day 8:  Lake Naivasha – Amboseli

Get up refreshed early in the morning and enjoy  a relishing  breakfast .Today you will be  driven to the southern part of Kenya call Amboseli where you will pass through  the border of Kenya and Tanzania (Please note: You don’t need a visa while going to Amboseli national park  because the park is on the side of Kenya.) This is one of the best parks, from where you can have a stunning view Mount Kilimanjaro
You will reach this park in the late evening. While driving back to the campus you will pass through the game drive route.

Nairobi Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi

Leave Amboseli after breakfast and then move forward to Nairobi.
